Lush Being

lovers embracing each other - an art form

Fragrant damp forest
Orchids facing each other
Petals yearning

Speaking through sensate auras
Swaying, curling, turning outward, then in;
Emitting their fragranced call


Waterfall’s cooling sparks
Orchids facing each other
Wafting sighs; the breath of a flower
Petals flutter like shy eyelashes


This power within a moment
Ensconced here, in the foliage of paradise
Our beauty is eternal


Your petal’d face. Your wrap around leaf-hands.
The dirt in which you are planted
But more than these;
The strength with which you stand and face me.

These rare flowers that we are
Orchids facing each other,
Would wilt or burn, in other environs

Within this perfection of light & shade
We become a truer Eden
We lushly meet and soothe and intermingle until the end of time
