Soldiers for the Lord

Sarah Palin addressing a crowd

"I am a great advocate for intelligent responses to critical situations. If Christianity holds its adherents as 'soldiers for the Lord', or 'soldiers of God', the logical thing is to train the mind, the emotions, and spirit instead of lapsing into a whimpering pile asking, "What do I do now? Soldiers train for every possibility, and the course of actions they follow in combat flows naturally in their responses because they trained every aspect of their being. Soldiers tend to ask intelligent questions after a long time of retraining, training and practice in the arts of war. Anything less is weak, and unattractive to our young people who claim membership or leadership in violent gangs, yet yearn to leave that life to walk a spiritual path.

The very reason many of our young people embrace Islam is based on this fact: Muslims prepare for war without apology. They recruit and train on the streets, and in prisons without fear, and an admirable resolve Christians are unable to muster and match." -Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of the Sacred Medicine Wheel teachings
