A'int Not Time To Waste Time

Do you know people who waste time doing nothing? In other words, they sit back and watch life pass them by without lifting a finger. Some call it laziness, others define it as procrastination, and still others label it as wasting time, talent, and energy. Whatever you want to call it, wasting time, talent, and energy will cause you to live below your potential and therefore cause you to miss out on God's promise. I don't care how bad the situation may appear in your life, never waste time doing nothing. As my mentor told me years ago, 'the more you waste time, the more frustrated you'll become, and the more frustrated you become, the quicker you'll decay.' Here's the Sinclair remix. When you waste time, don't expect to get anything or go anywhere.

In this life, I've discovered the greatest mistake many people make is using an excuse for something they're able and capable of doing. Let me say that again. Rather than seeking out and stepping out to do what God has called them to do, they like to find excuses as to why what they're called to do and/or want to do is impossible to do. For some reason, they have a loss of memory and/or faith. If this sounds like you, may I remind you that you were created with a purpose and because of God's power in you, you have more than enough strength on the inside to carry you through any obstacle on the outside. Your time, talent, and energy are never to be wasted on unproductive thoughts and living.

In this spiritual journey, you need to know the enemy specializes in getting you off track of your divine purpose. Anytime you find yourself wasting time, that's a clue to examine yourself spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. Don't put off that which you can do right now. Here's a question for you. What has wasting time, talent, and energy done for you? If your answer is nothing, then you should never allow this 'illness' to control you, define you, or confine you. That's right; wasting time is an illness.

The writer of Proverbs penned the words, "The desire of the lazy man kills him, for his hands refuse to labor." Please don't miss this. Failure to use what God has given you is an insult to God. I want you to get into your spirit that God has placed something special in you. It doesn't matter your age, physical limitations, educational background, or financial status, you have work to do. With God operating in your life and through your life, you can accomplish great things. Just don't waste your time, talent, and energy. Wake up each morning with a purpose. Live each day carrying out your purpose. Here's a hint: when you do this, you'll experience all that God has planned for you.
