SONGS OF FREEDOM Redemption song. . .

Freedom

“… one of the challenges of being a thinking and socially conscious American citizen is the reality of being spied on by the Federal government. It has been my experience as a young man, and today it is part of everyday life. It has only been a few years since Internet providers in the name of dictatorial patriotism gave our privacy away to President Bush and his Homeland Security, and it changed us, or did it? How much thinking goes into our liberty that doesn’t polarize us I wonder? The new technology comes with evasive components that tracks and follows us wherever we go, and we behave as if we have no voice of dissent. It is strange how luxury and convenience have been allowed to compromise our concepts of freedom.” ©Gregory E. Woods
