WHAT? I AM A MAN

Humbug!

Interesting point of view, but it conceals the contradictions we, as men, introduce into the makeup of women. For one thing, the definition of manhood is up for discussion as it should be in every generation. What a man is is affected by the demands and expectations of the times he lives in, and the women in his life. Fundamental questions bring up the concerns women have about the role men, their men play in their lives. Those reflections, insights, and the angry words are reactions to realities, or thinking that won't budge our resistance to think, sometimes, reflect or change at other times into better men from the deepest level of being.

Growing into manhood, and expanding the role is not the easiest of things to do. But it does not occur without the women in our lives regarding us as they do. Do we listen? It is our spiritual responsibility to listen carefully to what is being said and unsaid. This is the way of Men, the teachings of Manhood a boy needs to see, and a man needs to incorporate into the value teachings from father to son. - Gregory E. Woods 3.5.13
