| Who painted this portrait of King Solomon and when? |
King Solomon wrote in the Songs of Solomon about himself saying, "I am Black, but comely... Look not upon me because I am Black because the Sun has looked upon me..." Amazingly much speculation has been cast upon this admission good and bad, but the truth is that English speakers have not read to understand these words in either Hebrew, or the native tongue, Amharic, of those people.
