All of this angers, disturbs and perplexes me at the same time. Here we are at a major juncture in our national life and there is a dominant spirit amongst powerful men, and a large group of Americans consistent in their fight to undermine the very structure of what they believe to be the best country in the world. There is a constant record of this in the house of narrow and conservative people who believe that undermining President Obama is a patriotic and Christian duty. It is hard to fathom this practice, or discern its spirit, but it is unmistakable in its ability to be self serving, mean and ineffective. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 7.11.14
