A Teaching Circle

Black black woman fishing...

I learned the Circle Teachings of Faith. Starting out simply with the words, "Faith without works is dead..." as a child I learned as an adult a bit more than faith is needed. Like imagination needs the discipline of a work ethic to pull knowledge into a synthesis, so too does faith need the something substantial to pull upon the way a baby needs to suckle. So must the person of faith suckle the way a warrior stands gathering all he has done to the point of action with his fears before the challenge looming before him. All of these things work together for the good of a good outcome, or the powerful teachings of defeat. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 6.19.13
