Types of Warriors

Warrior Teachings by Don Juan, plus my perceptions of what he said. "Warriors are ruthless." (Ruth being the woman in The Bible that felt pity for some Hebrew spies, and helped them escape from a city). That doesn't mean they are hateful or merciless, they just don't pity people. Pity not being the same as sympathy or compassion. Pity is living off of another's pain, not feeling with one's pain

"Warriors do not criticize, or give praise." Because either one can put someone on an ego trip. Feeling sorry for themselves, or getting the big head. But as I have stated before, I don't take any one Wisdom Teaching to an extreme. Peace. - Eddie C. Kunze

I've studied into a number of different works by different men, but feel it is all based on Toltec Wisdom. Dan Millman's "The Way of The Peaceful Warrior", Carlos Caseneda's "The Teachings of Don Juan", James Redfield's "The Celestine Prophecy", and "Insights", and "The Four Agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz and Son.

Don Miguel Ruiz and Son speak more on a psychological level, and it is an excellent source for learning better Communications Skills. It talks about the parasite, and judge. Parts of our mind that eat away at us. Like repeatedly going over something bad we experienced in our mind, that happened 10 and 20 years ago!

Don Juan on the other hand, speaks from the position of a seer, one who sees energy at work. He talks about the Two Minds. One being a Foreign Installation. In that there are basic elemental spirit forms that break down negative energy. (I imagine that is for recycling). They are not malicious, intentional in trying to harm anyone. But they basically break down negative energy by infusing it with more negative energy. So a negative person is in fact being infused, injected with a steady dose of negativity from outside one's self, making them even more negative in the way they think and conduct themselves.

Some may prefer the idea that it all is an element of their own mind that makes someone be negative all the time, because they feel one has a better chance of defeating it. I prefer the idea that it is something outside of myself. Not always me, and some attitude I have or something. And that is something I can defeat easier.
