Sophistication has little, if anything to do with being of age to drink, wear nice clothes, be provocative, or say certain things certain ways. Sophistication is developed in a person's roots during the earliest days of one's chapters upon the Earth, our Mother. It is a seasoning upon basic tenets of ethics, common knowledge, care, power, and the stability of being held and nurtured, and loved. Others become sophisticated in harder fashion, but the line of similarity between the ways one becomes sophisticated is struggle; struggle between ideal and fact, the dream and the dream in motion, and the work from the dream of who we are alive and in this world! - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 12.9.13
