Women's Place

home life generates life in the kitchen

Home life generates life in the kitchen. It is like a camp's fire. For starters, today's myth young women live with stems from renouncing the role of the kitchen. What drove many women away from the traditional role of caretaker, cook, and mother was the way men suffocated women's life force demeaning the power of those roles with nothing of comparable value in exchange. It was a strange dance most don't understand completely. In haste to eradicate discomfort and avoid studying the path  trodden our collective histories complicate the ignorance many young people's lives are scented with.

There are reasons men have roles and women have roles. They are all rooted in the science of spirit, survival, and the need for balance to purpose. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 6.2.15
