Back to being Black . . .

One of the things I have noticed visiting homes of friends, new friends and acquaintances is the abundance or the lack of books, and libraries in their homes. There is a large percentage of white Americans I have visited whose homes have libraries of a variety of subjects, including the histories of Africans, the philosophies of religions, government, etc. In homes of Black Americans libraries are not common. It does not matter the education level.

It always bothers me.
