Purpose of Identity: knowing who you are.

Serena William's fall collection debut September 12, 2016 on  HSN.

It is the business sense and the sophistication of young Black athletes and artists I admire who are at the top of their game and those who are growing outside the spotlight of fame, in particular. It is the legacy of those before them. It is not their doing we are proud of, it is the fact that they took advantage of what was laid down for them before them. These young people are the answer to the prayers of their Elders, their Ancestors! They are as responsible as we were to their generations. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories [June 05, 2017]

Tommy Hilfiger panties worn by Black British woman, Roxanne.

Wasn't Tommy Hilfiger the designer, who came out complaining that he did not intend for Blacks to wear his creations? Oh, well. Why bring it up? Black folks consistently support white people who decry their existence, and make open their contempt. Blacks buy their products after a short period of outrage! Therein lies a basis for the lack of respect Black Americans receive from other groups.
