REACTING in AMERICA

The roots of all goodness lie in the soil of appreciation for goodness.” –Dalai Lama

"You can spend minutes, hours, days, weeks, or even months over-analyzing a situation; trying to put the pieces together, justifying what could've, would've happened... or you can just leave the pieces on the floor and move the fuck on." -Tupac Shakur

"Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead." -Oscar Wilde

A Colored woman, by definition determined by blood quantum or culture? Is she a Native woman forced out of her people's lodges to be made white and wound up a Colored woman at the turn of the last century? Two profound questiona better appreciated and felt at the turn of the last century. A hundred years later the questions about identity center differently as evidenced by the calibre of woman in our faces daily. You answer the question definitely by the way you perceive self, whites, Colored folks, and understand this country! - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories June 26, 2017
