Question of Scorn

Skin Diamond is an American-Scottish pornographic actress and nude model. I listened to an interview she did on a documentary about a select group of women in her industry. Her attitude and obvious thoughtfulness was compelling and not all within the stereotype of a whore, but of a woman deeply engaged in one of the mysterious interplays with sexual energies. It was as if she told God she would determine her life energies towards sexual exploration. Not that it was sin, but a gift to be defiant about, curious about and defensive about because she made a living exploring sex.

She developed a kind of arrogance bordering on contempt for people outside of her vernacular. The porn industry took in a calibre of individual, she observed, who understood a sphere normal people could only speculate, or judge from the distance. She said she didn't care what people thought, but each time I listened I heard hurt.

On her reasoning behind porn she said, "As a woman with a voracious fascination with all things regarding the world of sex, it's hidden taboos and the psyche that defines it, porn was a dream come true. Pornographic sex is very different from the norm. For one, there's a budget. There can be atmospheric lighting beaming down on a realistic set catering to whatever fantasy that I was trying to present. I could literally have my wildest sexual fantasies play out in a safe consensual environment surrounded by professionals and protocols to further ensure my safety. An ethical slut's dream. Why not grab the opportunity by the balls, so to speak? And as an independent and highly sexual woman, taking charge of my own personal sexual growth in this manner was immensely empowering.

However I would not recommend this path for everyone, I've always liked to do things in my own way."

That is bold, or is it simply taking a path in life to learn her lessons for this lifetime?

I venture to state there is reasoning behind fear of becoming whom one was meant to becomeEven in Jesus' name people find it too hard to become themselves, or enter the way to discover righteousness, truths, or simply explore the vast terrain the Creator has created for us to explore. Why this is can be mirrored within whores and children.

Skin Diamond appears innocent within her innocence, but is in fact and essence a porn star.
