Women pose, I imagine, for a variety of reasons that may or may not be out of vanity. In front of professional photographers it may be for an opportunity to trust an artist to see within her who she doesn't see on a regular basis reflected in her relationships with others! Maybe. It may be for the simple pleasure of expression and nothing more! The reasons matter, but the outcome and how it was achieved can become works of art in the perception of self.
